Community Outreach and Ways to Get Involved
You can help the Malabar Farm Foundation with its mission to preserve the legacy of Louis Bromfield and help with the numerous educational, preservation, and community projects through out the year. Since its founding the foundation has contributed over $2 million dollars to Malabar Farm State Park. Here are some ways that you can help give back to the farm and to the people of Richland County who benefit by visiting the farm and learning about the contributions of Malabar Farm to agriculture and to the Mansfield, Ohio area.
Louis Bromfield Society Membership
The Louis Bromfield Society is the membership program established to raise funds in support of this mission. Your membership dues help the Malabar Farm Foundation, an independent private, non-profit, 501c(3) organization, continue to make education, development, and preservation projects possible. Since its founding the foundation has contributed over $2 million dollars to Malabar Farm State Park. All contributions are tax-deductible, as provided by law.

Your Donations to the Foundation have helped to fund many projects, including two nationally televised PBS documentaries, over $600,000 toward the construction of the Visitor / Education Center, funding for educational exhibits, house and artifact restoration, and the creation and maintenance of our website, www.malabarfarm.org.Since its founding the foundation has contributed over $2 million dollars to Malabar Farm State Park.

The Giving Tree Donor Recognition
Visitors to the Visitor Education Center, will see a beautiful bronze tree with leaves of bronze, silver, and gold surrounded by acorns and foundation stones. You can create a permanent memorial by recognizing someone on the Malabar Giving Tree. Each leaf and stone is engraved as specified by the donor. Kroger Community Rewards
The Malabar Farm Foundation is also enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards Program! Your Kroger Plus card can be linked to a charity so that each time you shop for groceries or gas, a percentage will be credited to the charity of your choice. Richland County Foundation – Richland Gives
The Malabar Farm Foundation also participates in the Richland Gives annual donation drive. This is an online giving event that is hosted by the Richland County Foundation. It is an easy way to support your local charities, including the Malabar Farm Foundation. You do not have to wait until the event to donate, and you are welcome to make a donation any time. The event is usually the last week of November or the first week of December.
